An Xbox Live Indie Games title, Xenominer gained notoriety for being a unique take on the Minecraft/sandbox formula. It's audience was incredibly niche but loyal and the development team updated the game often. It even became popular enough to be ported to PC. Sadly in around 2015, the team could no longer develop the game and the store that the PC port was being sold on was shut down. The final version of the game released was 2.6. Since the game was so niche, not many people ever got this version and none of those who did thought to share it or archive it. As time went on, the few available downloads for the game (2.6 or otherwise) disappeared, leaving no way to play this unique indie title. Today, thanks to r/xenominer360, A working installer for the last released version of the game has been found, and now archived.
